Henry Johnson Honored by IoPP – Again
Henry Johnson, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Delta Companies Group, was recently named an Honorary Life Member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP).
This is from the IoPP announcement: Henry Johnson The IoPP Honorary Life Membership award is the second award that IoPP has bestowed on Henry in the last two years. He was inducted into the IoPP “College of Fellows” in 2006. At the recent meeting of the Chemical Packaging Committee (CPC) held in Litchfield, Arizona, Henry was elected Chairman of the CPC on May 4, 2009.
Henry joined the CPC in 1995 and has served as Secretary to the Executive Subcommittee, Chairman of the Drum, Pail, and Rigid Intermediate Bulk Container Subcommittee and chaired numerous Task Groups in CPC including the champion of the first CPC website. According to the IoPP, the Chemical Packaging Committee continues to set the standard for all Technical Committees of IoPP. CPC has received the Technical Committee of the year award for the 7th consecutive year.
Henry Johnson is rapidly approaching 40 years of service in sales, marketing and business development in the chemicals industry. He joined Delta Chemical Services in 1993 with the mission to develop and execute a business plan to build a world -class liquid chemical packaging facility in the U.S Gulf Coast . The plant became a reality in October [1998]. Today, Delta Companies Group is one of the largest volume liquid chemical contract drumming operations in the US and possibly on a global basis.
